Schritt für Schritt zum Aquarell

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

heute zeige ich Euch einmal, wie ich beim Malen eines Aquarells vorgehe. Als Motiv dient ein schottisches Castle.

Schritt 1: 
 Eine Bleistiftskizze wird angelegt und die Teile, die weiß bleiben sollen (hier die Fenster) werden mit Maskierflüssigkeit abgedeckt. Die Maskierflüssigkeit muss zuerst ganz trocken sein, bevor weitergemalt werden kann.

Schritt 2:

Das Blatt befeuchte ich zunächst mit klarem Wasser und lasse dann rote und gelbe Aquarellfarbe in den Himmel und Teile der Burg einfließen. Um noch etwas Drama zu erzeugen, spritze ich blaue Aquarellfarbe auf den roten Himmel. Die Farbe muss jetzt wieder trocknen, bevor ich weitermalen kann.

Schritt 3:
Die Burg wird mit einer Mischung aus Blau und gebrannter Erde ausgemalt und die Schatten angelegt.

Schritt 4:

Die Bäume und Sträucher werden in einer Mischung aus Gelb und Blau nur locker angedeutet.

Schritt 5 und damit letzter Schritt:
Das Rubbelkrepp wird entfernt, ein paar kleine Details werden zu den Fenstern hinzugefügt und das Bild ist fertig.

Winter in Germany

Letzten Samstag haben wir bei herrlichem Wetter einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang durch unsere verschneite Landschaft gemacht und dabei einige Fotos aufgenommen. Daraus ist heute dieses Aquarell entstanden.

The Fortress

Another painting about winter and snow was coming out of my brush at another sleepless night. It's showing a  German fortress surrounded by a protective body of water, apparently build up in the 13th century.

The Church at Auvers

Hi all,

today I finished this painting of the famous church, which Vincent Van Gogh painted plain air during the last year of his life. I did'nt copy his work but took a photo from a today's view of it. My version is a little bit more realistic, I mean ;)
